REIAC Southwest

Debt & Equity Panel

October 22, 2015

Back by popular demand, REIAC Southwest proudly presents a unique gathering of some of the top minds in commercial real estate finance at REIAC’s Debt & Equity Panel.   We have an impressive list of experts joining us this year – all of whom will provide a view of Arizona in the context of national trends, asset inflation in Gateway cities, abundance of committed capital and the competitive lending environment.  The panel, all visiting from out of state, will also afford the opportunity to discuss how investment opportunities in Arizona are perceived by other areas of the country.  Our guests include:
Jeff Friedman is the co-founder of Mesa West Capital and is involved in all areas of the company including originations, asset management, investor relations and operations. With offices in Los Angeles and New York, Mesa West is a real estate finance company with over $2 billion in lending capacity.
Joseph Neverauskas, a41-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry, is responsible for the acquisitions, management and operations of Equus’ Midwest and Western U.S. portfolios.
Perry Pinto directs the acquisition efforts for Walton Street Capital throughout the West Coast, and directs all of firm’s industrial acquisitions throughout the entire United States.  Mr. Pinto has acquired over $6 billion of assets in every sector of commercial real estate in every major geographic market of the United States.
Eric Samek is a Director with AEW Partners Fund, where, since 2007, he has invested over $1 billion of debt and equity in the office, multifamily, industrial and retail sectors.

The panel will be skillfully moderated by Joe Blackbourn, President and CEO of Everest Holdings.

As always, an array of food and an open bar will be provided.  We thank our generous sponsors for their support:  A.R. Mays Construction; Atwell; BBVA Compass; Butler Design Group; CivTech; First American Title Insurance; Gallagher & Kennedy P.A.; KPMG; The Rockefeller Group; and the Town of Gilbert.

We look forward to a large gathering at the Paradise Valley Country Club on October 22nd.
