I. Michael Kasser

I. Michael (“Mike”) Kasser is the CEO and President of Holualoa Companies, a real estate investment firm with both commercial and residential holdings across the United States and Europe.  Mike founded Holualoa in 1985 when he and his wife, Beth, moved to Hawaii soon after competing in the Ironman Triathlon.  Mike has a B.S. and an M.S. in chemical engineering from M.I.T., a doctorate of engineering from the University of Grenoble (France), and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.  Mike is fluent in French, German, Spanish, Italian and Hungarian.  Mike’s community activities have included trustee or board positions with: the University of Arizona Foundation, the College of Science at the University of Arizona, the Tucson Museum of Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art Department of Scientific Research Visiting Committee, M.I.T., Arizona Theatre Company, and C-Path Institute.

Dick Lund, our moderator for the evening, began his commercial real estate career in 1978  with Grubb & Ellis.  Dick rose to the position of national director of real estate investments where he managed teams in 54 offices nationwide.  Leveraging his investment sales expertise, Dick founded Biltmore Holdings which has now owned and/or developed over $1.3 billion in real estate transactions over the past 15 years.   Dick has served on the boards of several industry and charitable organizations, including past President of REAIC Southwest.
